The Orgin of Agasthyar Siddha & ayurveda health care has been traced back since 1960, where our forefather Late, A. Devasahayam vaidyar had been serving the natives,with Siddha & Ayurvedic medications. Later his son-in-law, C. Lazer vaidyar, (DSM) (50 years of experience)and his daughter Late, D. G Retnam (DSM)followed his traditional treatments. After many years they shifted Agasthyar Siddha & Ayurveda health care from venganoor to kovalam in 1991.
Now Lazer vaidyar’s son,Dr. Sebastian.L (BSMS) (17 years of experience) and his daughter -in -law, Dr. Chinju Sebastian (BSMS) (7 years of experience ) is accompanying him in his traditional path.
The uniqueness of Siddha & Ayurvedic system is Marma therapy. We all are good experts in Marma therapy. We diagnose diseases by Naadi perception. We need the full satisfaction of our patients, so our treatment style is entirely different. So we ourselves doing the Marma therapy to the patients and not by the therapists. During the course of Siddha and Ayurvedic treatments, we are giving internal medicines also. After our treatment we assure complete, detoxified good health to all our patients.
The Siddha system is one of the oldest Natural Medical System in the world. It is a holistic system which was flourished in south India. Sage Agasthyar is said to be the father of siddha system. The term ‘siddha’ was derived from the root word ‘siddhi’ which means spiritual perfection or to become one with the supreme. This is the highest goal of life.
Ayurveda is one of the oldest medical system in the world. Ayurveda system is developed by the great Rishis of India. Ayurveda is science of life (Ayur=life, Veda =knowledge). Ayurveda emphasis that science, philosophy and spirituality are all necessary aspects of healthy living. Ayurveda is not only a medical system but also a way of living and the very concept of “mind,body and spirit” originates from Ayurveda. The basic principles of Ayurveda- Vatha, pitha, kapha. Ayurveda focuses on establishing and maintaining balance of life energies within us, rather than focusing on symptoms.
